[Updated 09.2023] MESSAGE FROM DR MIKES:
I have reopened my Hinsdale office and opened a 2nd office in Palos Heights. I will remain a Northwestern physician but have relocated my Palos Hospital practice to my former 911 N Elm Suite 328. There, I will continue the development of a state of the art out-patient Pulmonary and Sleep Management Practice in Hinsdale Illinois. My Palos Heights office is located @ 11824 Southwest Hwy Suite 130. Contrary to recent letters sent out to patients, I continue to be a network provider for all major insurance companies including, but not limited to, United Healthcare, Aetna and Cigna.
It is my hope that many patients will continue their care with me. I can remain in contact with all your other physicians regardless of their affiliation with Northwestern. As before, I will continue to have access to any diagnostic testing done at any Northwestern location or we can seamlessly connect to most facilities via Epic Care Everywhere.

Please call 630.222.2951 to schedule an appointment with me at either of my clinics. I understand many of you cannot make the trip to Hinsdale - many follow-up issues can be managed by telehealth. Use the same number to schedule telehealth with my office. This is a mobile number for office purposes only; not for for emergency medical purposes.
You may choose to speak with your primary care doctor and select another pulmonologist to whom you can transition care. All pulmonary function testing , lab work, Xrays, CT scans, PET scans and biopsies, previously arranged from my office, are captured in NM’s Epic medical record. I am always available through NM paging or email systems or by phone to consult with your new provider to promote a smooth transition and continuity of care.
Should you require medical advice or prescription refills, please see your primary care physician. For urgent or life threatening issues please go to your nearest emergency room or urgent care facility.
TO ALL PATIENTS: We reserve the right to bill for all missed appointments not cancelled w/in 24 business hours.
IMPORTANT for all NEW PATIENTS: You will have a breathing test before seeing me. (If you are on a rescue inhaler, do not use 3 hrs before the appt). Please bring previous test results to the 1st appointment, including, not limited to, previous lung and/ or abdomen CT/ CXRs images on disk, lung function test results, sleep studies and/or compliance downloads, stress test results. Any questions, please ask when making the appointment.
